I know... I'm still supposed to be on my summer hiatus. And don’t worry, I have been out and about and enjoying the sunshine (and some time away from my desk.)
But I wanted to pop in with one thing.
As part of my work, I am frequently on industry podcasts and webinars, which are, for the purposes of this audience, incredibly boring. Unless you LOVE talking about software optimization and end user training (I mean, who doesn’t,) the content I post professionally usually doesn’t translate well into my personal life.
UNTIL NOW.
I recently had the chance to join Joey Pinz on his podcast to chat about systems, habits, smarter growth, and how they apply to my day-to-day life.
Wow, so exciting, right?
Well, maybe. I have absolutely no idea if it's any good.
The second I saw it was live, I had the same reaction I always do. "I can't listen to this."
Does anyone else do this?
You work really hard on something, you're so excited about the opportunity, and then the idea of hearing yourself speak for half an hour feels... impossible.
Instead, I'm sharing it first and waiting for someone else to tell me it's good before I eventually work up the courage to listen myself.
If you do give it a listen, I'd love to know what you think - as long as you think it’s great. Chances are I'll still be avoiding it for at least another few weeks.
